Prices include VAT. The quantity to enter in your order is the number of pages in the document: a one-page certificate costs 30 €, a three-page document 90 €. If you are not sure how to count the pages, upload the file and we confirm the total before we start.

What the 30 € per page covers

The translation, done by a sworn translator registered with the competent court of appeal.
The signature, the stamp and the statement of fidelity to the document received.
Delivery as a PDF by email within 24 to 48 working hours for a standard document.
A check of your document before we start, confirming the number of pages and the delivery date.

What it does not cover

The paper copy by post, which is a 15 € option.
The apostille or legalisation of the original document, which you request in the country that issued it.
Marche da bollo (revenue stamps) and court registry fees, which relate to the asseverazione before an Italian court and not to the sworn translation in PDF form.
Any application fees and consular charges attached to your case.

Languages

The same price for every pair we offer: Italian to and from English, Spanish, French, German, Romanian and Arabic, and those six languages between themselves. For any other language, write to us for a quote.

Payment and ordering

Pick your document from our services, choose the language pair and the number of pages, upload the scan and pay online. You receive the order confirmation by email and, if anything about the document is unclear, we write to you before we start.

1. Service provider

2. Purpose of the service

The service consists of the sworn translation of the document provided by the client, carried out by a sworn translator who signs and stamps it and certifies that it is faithful to the document received. The translation is produced from the scan or photo uploaded by the client and is delivered in PDF format by email.

The following optional services are available: a paper copy sent by post and, on quote, a translation certified against the original document (which requires the original to be sent) and the apostille or legalisation.

The provider plays no part in the decisions of the receiving authority and does not guarantee acceptance of the document where this depends on requirements unrelated to the translation, such as legalisation, the apostille or the validity of the original.

3. Orders

The client chooses the document, specifies the source and target languages, uploads the file and confirms the order. The contract is concluded upon the order confirmation sent by email. If the file proves illegible or the number of pages does not match what was stated, the provider contacts the client before starting work.

4. Prices

The applicable prices are those shown on the page of each service at the time of ordering, expressed in euros and inclusive of taxes. The billing unit is the page, meaning each written side of the document, including stamps, annotations and apostilles. If the document requires a price adjustment, the provider confirms it with the client before work begins. Optional services are invoiced separately.

6. Delivery times

The delivery time is 24-48 business hours for a standard document. For long documents, less common languages or services on quote, the delivery time is communicated to the client before work begins. Delivery times run from confirmation of payment and receipt of a legible and complete document. Postal delivery times are additional.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a general rule, consumers have fourteen (14) days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, pursuant to Article 52 of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005).

A sworn translation is, however, a service tailored to the client's document. Consequently:

if the client expressly requests that performance begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that they will lose this right once the service has been fully performed, the exclusion provided for in Article 59(1)(a) of the Consumer Code applies;

as the service is clearly personalised, the exclusion in Article 59(1)(c) also applies.

As long as the translator has not started work, the order can be cancelled with a full refund. To exercise the right of withdrawal, simply notify info@giuradoc.it.

10. Liability

The provider's liability is limited to the proper performance of the translation ordered. The provider is not liable for damage resulting from late submission attributable to the client, from the absence of an apostille or legalisation on the original, or for the acceptance criteria of any authority. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that the law imposes on a mandatory basis towards consumers.
